I scheduled with Dr. Galligher through this service because my cat gets totally freaked out getting in the carrier to go to the vet (she's not real thrilled with the trip home either). This, combined with COVID restrictions, had led us to be very, very overdue for a vet visit so I decided to try a house call visit. OMG, what a great experience this was! My cat really enjoyed hanging out with the vet, chasing the light from her otoscope, supervising the tech prepping the vaccines, inspecting the stethoscope, and getting loads of petting and treats. This was just about my best vet experience too because we had a really useful talk about my cat's diet and some strategies for managing how much she's fed when there are two of us doing it. Not a "budget" choice for an only kitty, but worth it for all the information you'll get and the bonus of not having to clean out the dreaded carrier when the cat pees all over it, twice.

Better vet is the BEST VET! The first thing that made me comfortable was that the Dr. Melissa and her assistant BONDED with my dog and cared for him as if they knew him already. Also Dr. Melissa noticed my anxiety and ensured that even I was ok. I know in my heart that you all are CONFIDENT that she and her team are ASSETS to the company. Kindness is something that is genuine. The relationship is bonded…? oh and POPPI’ said don’t forget the treats when you come back ?

BetterVet is the best!! Dr. Melissa White and vet tech, Brooke, are the dream team! We’ve had wonderful experiences working with them and request them now for appointments. They always come fully prepared, on time and are very organized. They are extremely knowledgeable, caring and patient with all of our pups. They understand different behavioral needs and are great at making dogs feel comfortable with them, even when our dogs aren’t feeling great. We love how they explain everything to us and take their time working with our dogs. We can’t thank Dr. White & Brooke enough for going above & beyond to help our pups feel their best!

The Vets does NOT serve the city of Philadelphia. Their Philadelphia zip code service area only includes surrounding counties. Dr. Melissa White and the Better Vet service were invaluable to us in caring for our senior dog who freaks out at office visits. Also, The Vets' posted service charges are more expensive than Better Vet's. Overall, this is a terrible loss and a shame.

So completely pleased by this visit. Dr. White and her assistant provided superior diagnoses and treatment. They had gentle and positive manner with my cat and were sensitive to my own needs as an elderly owner. I've never had such excellent services and recommend them with no reservations at all. The costs were quite reasonable.
