the vibes are very fun and quirky and fruity!!!! love the decor and merch and fun stuff u can purchase. staff is very friendly, and if you’re a first time customer they give u a little badge/pin it’s so nice

We went to the Chili Cookoff event and it was a great time. The Chili was wonderful and Rusty & Drew, as always, were so welcoming. The store portion is always full of funny items and we came away with several items for gifts for friends. The beer selection was good.

We came here on a whim from seeing the sign on the street. It’s a super cozy place and everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly. They have a lot of fun items and a good bar selection with very reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend.

Recently we had our wedding reception at The Green Monkey. Downstairs they have an events space. This was perfect for our group of friends and family. It’s intimate and yet plenty of space to move around. They had high top seating and Rusty made sure our guests didn’t go thirsty.

Their new location in the heart of downtown is perfect for a private party and also to just visit and have a drink. Also there are a lot of fun and unique gifts on the main floor. There is an outdoor space that’s great on a nice day for guests to also gather and enjoy some fresh air.

You will always feel welcome at the monkey. It’s diverse and has a great selection of local and craft beers. They also have a unique selection of wines.
Back to the party, I highly recommend using them for your next small reception/party. Go see Rusty, Drew and the crew at The Green Monkey!

Very cool, local craft bar for a chill/cozy time. Lots of good/cool knickknacks, souvenir, local product type of gifts. Definitely a good spot to grab a drink and a potential gift for people visiting. LGBTQIA+ super friendly, definitely give this spot a try

Green Monkey is a cute gift shop offering a variety of memorabilia items, and it's also very LGBT friendly. The staff was welcoming as well.

There is also a bar for drinks if you want to relax inside. I would highly recommend a visit!

Great live music....Oak City Saxes.
Rusty and Drew are always friendly and very hospitable.
