I had an amazing experience with the store manager, Kyle. He assisted me with a jacket return and was able to accommodate and answer everything I asked him. He and his top sales associate (I'm sorry, I forgot his name!!) went above and beyond to find the right jacket and to ensure I was comfortable and happy with my purchase. It's not easy managing a store this size and complexity, Kyle you truly stood out and helped in all manners while still ensuring other customers were being looked after. I recently made a purchase at the store and requested an email receipt. However, the email receipt did not go through. Unfortunately I did not realize until later that night. After calling the store the next day and speaking with Steven, I was pleasantly surprised on how fast and efficient Steven was at locating my receipt and emailing it back to me. I believe that Steven’s efforts should be recognized. Thank you Steven and Sporting Life team!

I was promised a price for skis, but when I returned to have the bindings adjusted, they told me the price was incorrect and refused to honor it. The Manager admitted that an employee gave me the wrong price, but instead of making things right, the manager was dismissive and rude. Very unprofessional and frustrating experience. I won’t be shopping here again.

This keeps it factual, clear, and to the point while highlighting the key issues. I wont go there anymore.

I visited this store two weeks ago and had an extremely unpleasant experience. I was singled out for carrying a backpack, which happens to also be my purse, and was told that if I didn’t hand it over, I wouldn’t be allowed to shop. There was no visible policy regarding the handling of personal items. The staff’s behavior was racial profiling, and they were completely unwilling to listen or show any understanding.

I reached out to head office and was informed that this was supposedly a policy at all Sporting Life locations. However, when I visited different locations with the same bag, I discovered that this policy wasn’t enforced at the other stores, nor was there any visible notice about it.

As a result, I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere. Everything sold at the store can be purchased directly from the brands themselves, so I will no longer be supporting a business that doesn’t treat its customers fairly. Until there's a clear commitment to consistent and respectful treatment of all customers, I’m removing my lifetime customer value from Sporting Life.

Very disappointed when I came on Boxing Day particularly for a $550 Patagonia jacket and told me at the cash register that I won’t be able to return or exchange before Dec 30 due to the business, which is the day I’m travelling. It’s totally understandable, but it’s an exception case! I asked if I can return or exchange in another location, they said probably but we can’t speak on behalf of other stores! Okay, I spoke to the manager to write anything on the bell so I can do so, he said I can do this for exchange only but not for return! Also he asked “Why would you return it?” I said because I can and it’s originally in the policy! Maybe I changed my mind within 2 -3 days only!! I came only today for this jacket !!

I just wanna add that the stuff who helped with sizes and prices were very nice tho.
