My experience at Russell and Bromley was exceptional. I was greeted by an extremely polite and helpful salesperson named Justine. She helped my find my perfect fit while I tried on many different types of boots. I'll admit I'm not the most decisive shopper but she was not pushy at all and she really went out of her way to help me. I had just started looking for boots and stopped by here just to browse, Justine wrote down the boots I liked and the prices so I could pop by later if I wanted to buy them. I would definitely recommend this shop for a great shopping experience. Oh, and the boots are really nice too!

Appalling customer service. I went into store on the weekend to look for some shoes and was ignored by staff when I first asked for some assistance. Once I had finally got someone's attention and asked for the shoes / sizes to try on they went back to ignoring me. I sat down and waited for the shoes to arrive, the sales associate just plonked the boxes in front of me, opened a box and almost threw a shoe at me. Despite that I found a pair I really liked in the size I wanted. I went up to the counter to try and pay (no other customers were at the counter) and was told rather rudely to wait my turn. I waited a couple of minutes - still no other customer arrived and eventually gave up. I had planned on buying the shoes online but unfortunately they are now out of stock. Overall this is not the experience I would expect from Russell & Bromley. The Oxford branch are absolutely fantastic, so kind and welcoming and a fantastic group of workers. This felt the absolute polar opposite and I would NOT recommend this store.

What a brilliant customer experience, myself and my partner are from Australia and we were looking in the window early one morning when a lovely girl asked if she could help us an hour before the store opened. This turned out to be Lindsy who was the store manager. She was so helpful and pleasant we went back and was served by Ada who was also pleasant and helpful and a very good saleswoman as she even managed to sell one of their exceptional products(boots) to my partner as well as several pairs to myself. Both the service and the products are fantastic and we will certainly be back next time we are in the UK.

Staff - and especially the manager - are very rude, expected more from a “high end” store.
I will never be shopping from this brand again due to the awful experience I had in this store.

Had the loveliest experience as a result of one of the staff here. I really cant remember if he told me his name but he was the only male in the store and helped me so much with finding sizes and colours for some bridesmaid shoes. Will definitely be coming back now that I know such wonderful staff work here!

Total failure of the customer service.
I asked the size to try on, the staff toss the shoes with saying "you're welcom" ? I thought I heard it wrong.
I felt ignored as the staff engaged in conversation with a colleague and then walked away. This lack of attentiveness left me with a negative impression of the customer service.

Love their stylish shoes, very nice collection to pick from. However, customer service was a bit rude. I was attended by someone who initially seemed unwilling to serve me, awkward, and when she brought back the shoes, she placed them on the table instead of near the sitting area, inconvenient. Additionally, during checkout, she proceeded to whisper to her cashier, rude. This is my first time in London coming from the US, and this is not acceptable. Styles are great though!
