This place is awesome! I heard great things from a special lady of mine and saw the reviews on here reflecting what she said. I went in today and was not let down. Grace is very knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful. She greeted us upon arrival and started helping me find the perfect pair of running shoes right away. Even with all the help she was giving me, I did not feel pressured to make a decision or buy anything, aside from my own decision making process. She gave me plenty of space to get a feel for the shoes, and I was even able to take a run on a treadmill that they have set up there in the shop. I am very satisfied with the overall experience, Grace's outstanding knowledge of finding me exactly what I wanted, even though I didn't even know exactly what I wanted coming into the store, and, of course, most of all, I am extremely satisfied with the shoes I was able to purchase. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is committed to running but isn't 100% satisfied with their shoes... the price of mine were $140, no tax on clothes( shoes) in MN... I don't know how that compares other places as these are my first pair of running shoes, and I have historically been a cheap ass when it comes to shoes( and many other things... did you know that frugality is one of the three treasures of taoism ?). But, these were a gift from my special lady who wants me to have great shoes for running, saying how important it is because she used to do a lot of running.

I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Running Room, and the store itself is fantastic with a great selection of shoes and gear. However, my recent experience with one of the employees was incredibly disappointing.

The male employee with greasy long hair was rude and condescending. When I asked him about various pairs of shoes, he wouldn’t even let me finish speaking before cutting me off and dismissively saying they didn’t waste their time on “terrible” shoes. It made us want to leave immediately. As a customer looking for expert advice, I would have appreciated a more constructive and professional approach. Instead of shutting me down, he could have suggested alternatives or shown a genuine interest in helping me.

On top of that, he didn’t even bother to get up off his stool to assist us properly. Maybe the store should consider employing people who are willing to do their job and engage with customers respectfully. I love the store, but this experience left a bad impression, and I hope management addresses this.

I've been coming for years. Mainly to pick up race gear but I also have purchased items from time to time. Staff is knowledgeable and kind. Prices are fair. The store is very small so when it's busy it's takes a bit longer to get your questions answered. That is to be expected though.

Amazing service, the staff I encountered are on running teams and gave great service and suggestions! They walked me through selecting what I came in for and gave the right amount of attention, effort and patience to allow me to select the products I feel were the right ones for me.

They have ?, shorts, socks for running as well as nutrition in the store. One of the best shoe shopping experiences I've had baces on guest service, Thanks A!

Just left and it was rough. I was asking a few questions about arch support, pronating, what I should look for when buying shoes for my specific needs... The salesperson straight up wouldn't answer my questions. He just repeatedly said the shoes need to feel comfortable and you don't need to overthink it. "Just ask if you can see yourself running in them." Even an amateur like me knows that choosing a running shoe is about much more than just comfort.

Great experience. Haven't been there before, so called to see if they had my regular running shoes. Got a quick answer and price. They had the shoes ready 10 minutes later when I arrived to pick them up. They were also having a sale on running jackets, and I got a great deal on a nice jacket.

6/5 stars. They've earned a new regular.

I am relatively new to running and was told by a client to go to the Running Room for shoes (I had been using the same sneakers for the past four years). The manager was AMAZING. He could have easily sold me the first pair I tried on, but he kept suggesting I try different brands and sizes to get the perfect shoe. I love the pair I ended up with and will never go anywhere else.

Liked: I was greeted at the door. Disliked: I asked to try a shoe on, the employee gave me the shoe and walked away. It was too small, so I got up and walked out because nobody helped me. I’ve never had someone so unhelpful. I thought since this is a running store they would be more helpful
