Had the best experience at runners need Piccadilly after a less than average experience at another store. Luca was the best - so knowledgeable and took the time to provide expert advice, opinion and analyse my gait on the treadmill. I was very impressed with his service!!

Came for a Gait analysis and left feeling confused? I've been running for about 4 months now and started in a cheap pair of running shoes. After constant leg pain I decided that maybe shoes were the issue. I read up online about Gait Analysis and thought it would be the best option. I came in and was greeted with a smile from a staff member I didn't get a name of but they were very friendly. She gave me a pair of shoes to put on and told me to get on their treadmill whenever I was ready. I got on the treadmill and after about 40 seconds of running I was told to stop. I thought wow that was quick. Turns out it wasn't really an "Analysis" they took a video of my feet running on the treadmill and told me I'm a neutral runner... and that was it. I was slightly disappointed as online I was told I was going to be given "Advice from our experts" and for £15 it was not worth it considering I could do the same thing at a gym/or at home. Nevertheless we continued our conversation and they recommended some shoes for the distance I would be running and to help with my leg issues. The best part which was free, was being able to try each pair on the treadmill which helped me gauge what ones felt good for me. In total I think I tried on about 7 pairs of shoes but unfortunately as I am an unusual size they didn't have certain shoes I wanted to try on in store but I was expecting this. Overall the experience was good, the staff member was very helpful but the gait analysis is a bit of a sham. Not sure if other gait analysis go more in depth but this definitely wasn't worth it.

Came for a Gait analysis and a new pair of shoes. I had a great help from Luca. He listened to what I was looking for, showed me the shoes that could be a good choice for my feet and running routine (explaining the tradeoffs), then conducted my gait analysis while letting me try five pairs of shoes, and giving advice based on his own experience as a runner. I left with a pair of shoes that I'm pretty confident are the best suited for my feet (which overpronate) and running routine. Lovely and helpful staff and great selection of shoes of accessories. I would definitely recommend the store and will be back in the future.

I visited the store today and met Vincent. He was very helpful, checked my foot size and gait, and gave me great advice. I learned I’ve been wearing shoes that are too small and need a bigger size. The store has a great collection, and the staff are very friendly. Thank you, Vincent—you’re a star?

Super lovely and attentive team all going above and beyond. Had really great help from Liam. He was so patient. Despite me turning up literally minutes before closing he took time to help me try different shoes and even do a running analysis. I found my perfect shoes to my running journey.

Lovely and very attentive team. I needed to start running because I wanted to get some fitness in while the weather was warm. Liam went above and beyond helping me find the right pair of shoes. It started to get busy, but I never felt that I was forgotten or just a bother, unlike JD. The team was very professional and will be looking forward to visiting this site again some time soon.

Went six months ago, shop was empty it was me and and another girl waiting to be attended, staff was there but paid not attention to us. Eventually pointed at a shoe and asked them the size. Assistant came back with the size and I tired it on. At no point was any question being asked about gait, shoe fit, type of running… could not care less.

Bought the shoe because I needed it but I could have been at a vegetable stall would have been the same experience.

Not a running shop by any stretch. Would give zero stars
