Booked in for the gait analysis and came away from the experience a little cold, despite being paired up with some shoes in the end.

Analysis itself was interesting but the assistant seemed a little put out and generally unenthusiastic about answering questions or making sure the shoes fit correctly. Might have just been an off day but it was a shame as it dampened the experience a little.

My in-store collection timeframe was also a fair bit longer than I'm sure I was told and I was met with some resistance over a discount code I had. Again, not big deals in isolation but it added to the general dissatisfaction.

Only worth doing if you're for sure going to be buying shoes. Certainly wouldn't want to spend £15 on the experience.

Gait analysis was really poor. Didn’t measure my feet, gave me trainers that were too slim for my feet (due to lack of measurement) took them home and had severe blisters. Didn’t show me how to tie my laces properly (seen this in other stores). Left me to go on their break even though I booked the appointment and then had to choose the shoes myself not really knowing what would be best for me as a very newbie runner. All in all having to go to a different store to get another gait analysis in hopes to find a better more suited pair of running trainers.

Assistant did not ask me what I need the shoes for and seemed to assume that I am looking for casual sneakers. I am a very experienced runner and expected a little more attention.
Initially there was only one assistant with about 3 customers needing assistance. No interest in how the shoes fit or feel and had to wait at counter to pay. After some time a second assistant arrived to take the money. Like mentioned, for £175 pair of shoes a little more effort would be appreciated.

We chose RN so that we could have our running style analysed and get advice on correct shoes to buy. Lady who helped was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and no pressure to buy. My wife bought a new pair of shoes and I got some clothes and we got 15% discount for NT membership. Can definitely recommend this shop.

Returned today for a second time after having my gait analyzed last year, buying trainers and receiving great service. Today I just popped in to buy the new model of the same trainers... but once again received great service and some knowledgeable tips - at a competitive price. Well worth the trip into town over convenient online purchase. Think it was a James? That served me. Thanks
