Amazing 2ndhand kimono store that has both men and women's kimonos for affordable prices! Price does vary by quality, but the condition of the kimonos were fantastic all around.

The lady I spoke with had great English - she was very helpful with matching the kimonos with obis, and transparent with any flaws the items might have too!

This shop spans several spaces, and have plenty of choices to choose from. You'll definitely need to dig through the items to find items you like. The shop is located at the sides of the floor, so keep a look out when finding it.

Items prices are segregated according to the hanger colours, with white hangers at the cheapest of 1200¥. They also carry other accessories such as socks, bags, wallets etc.

There are a few staff. The younger lady can speak and understand a bit more English. But nonetheless they are all quite helpful.

Do note to check the items as some have yellowing/stains that may not be easy to remove. So just be mindful.

They have a small and limited section for kids.

They have a wide selection of secondhand kimonos and yukata with prices that cater to various budgets. They also had a variety of accessories like obi, hairpins, and more.

Found this used Kimono store by pure chance. This store is amazing. It has quite a nice selection of various models of Kimonos, ranging in quality and price. The lady I spoke to was extremely nice and helpful, and was quite fluent in English. Overall, a hidden gem in an already beautiful shopping mall. Well worth a visit if you are looking for a good quality used Kimono.

中野ブロードウェイ地下一階にあります。着物でリメイクワンピースを作ろうかと探しにいきました。白ハンガーは、なんと1200円。安すぎる。宝さがしです。たくさんの着物、帯があり選ぶのも楽しい。外国のお客さんが多かったです。

The first few times I've visited, I've just browsed obi or looked on my own. But recently, I've gotten more interested in learning how to properly wear kimono and yukata. I went in June and had no idea where to start, so one of the ladies whisked in and helped me find all the basics (himo, tabi, geta, nagajuban, etc). The price is reasonable and it's great for someone like me just getting started in wearing kimono. I went today unplanned and found two kimono I liked. Again, even though all of the staff was busy assisting other guests (many travelers who needed help determining the correct items, much like myself), one lady saw me struggling to decide between obi, styled me properly in the kimono, found like 15 seasonally appropriate colors for me to try, and tied the obi as well to help me decide. There are some helpful instructions signs in English for people who need more guidance. I hope to come again and expand my collection of Japanese style clothing.

JPY 1200 for these high quality fabric kimono / belt . JPY 1200 each ! When I rent in a kimono store targeting tourists, it was JPY 5500 synthetic fabric , not even cotton .

How I wish I know this little gem before renting ! The boss ( elderly lady ) is so nice , help me match the belt with kimono . It is way cheaper than 5 other stores I visited in Kyoto .and with great selections too !!!
