We had a great experience shopping at Holabird today. It was our first time there. I couldn’t find any specialty tennis stores closer to where I live in Howard County, so we drove up to Baltimore for Holabird. We were instantly welcomed and given excellent customer service from Tom. Thank you, Tom!! He was very knowledgeable and considerate towards my son and I. My son was able to try out different tennis rackets in the practice area with the ball machine. Such a nice feature when shopping for a racket! They had such a wide selection, my son was able to find a great racket for his holiday gift. They also had such a great selection of shoes, I decided to let my son try on some tennis shoes. We found a great pair for him! Tom measured my son’s foot and we had been buying the wrong sized shoes for years, without realizing it (too big). 10 out of 10 - great experience!!! Will definitely be back!

Very mixed about this experience. This was my first time in the store. I recently had a fusion of the big toe and have been trying to find comfortable shoes. I went in there having a good idea about what shoes I wanted to try. When I suggested these, the associate questioned my podiatrist’s recommendations and even said, “I know what you need,” and proceeded to get me shoes I didn’t ask for. He eventually did grab what I asked to try, but this was a bit off putting. While I’m sure the associates are knowledgeable, I will trust my doctor 100% of the time.
The other part of this experience was many of the associates (very loudly) complaining about people entering the store between 4p-420pm when the store closes at 430p. Even heard one of them say, “ugh here we go again.” Just awful. It wasn’t one person either. Several employees were visibly disgusted and annoyed that god forbid people come into the store during open hours. These workers were adults and should know better.
While I do like the shoe selection and did make a purchase based off that, I do not think I’ll be back.

This is my 3rd time and I've been so happy with my experience this time. Kim was very helpful and kindness.
I would love to give 10/10 she's take the time to understand my wide foot in order to get me the right kind of fit shoe.❤️

I was aware of this store being here for years but never been until today. I like the cool system they have in place when you want to try on shoes. My mom found the shoes she was looking for, and on the next visit, I will be sure that I will find the shoes I really like. Also, the service was friendly and attentive.

Don't order online. They did not ship these shoes with a box, but with plastic wrap and it completely destroyed the shoe box

Holabird Sports was the only online store which has the racket with my grip size. And to reply my email inquiry, the customer specialist Ari gave a very professional recommendation and detailed explanation of the choice of strings. I really appreciated it. That is the biggest reasons that we should support stores like Holabird, rather than Amazon.

Fantastic customer service, great selection, fast shipping and great prices!! I requested a specific swingweight and they were happy to find me an exact match. Will definitely be my first choice for all tennis related purchases!

I have a trip to disneyworld coming up and my wife suggest I buy a really comfortable pair of shoe's and she recommended a pair of brooks. So never having a pair I needed to find a store that have them so I could try them on. I found holabird sports online and figured that's where I would go. As soon as I walked in the door I was greated by Kim. She was absolutely AMAZING to work with! I told her my situation and she brought out multiple pairs of different brands of shoe's she helped me try them on and gave me her opinion on every pair. She was so pleasant, professional and fun to work with that the following week I brought my sister up there to get a pair as well from Kim and she and couldn't get over her experience with her also. I will definitely be back again if I need anything especially when Kim is working. If you need shoes she is the women to see!
