I'm sharing this review after using the equipment for about 6 months.
I purchased the GymShop Fitness Bundle in October 2023, which includes a power cage with pulley, a barbell, a workout bench and weight plates pairs (5lb, 10lb, 25lb, 45lb). I have to say that this is one of the best purchases I've made in the past 5 years. The quality of the products are very solid, and also with this price I don't think you can get anything better. The power cage is very firm and holds the ground well, and I think the weight plates are the "most-new" ones I have ever seen (even smells fresh). Ben was extremely friendly and helpful, delivered all my products on time with a great customer service. And even when there was an issue with the bench, he solved it right away for me. Thank you very much Ben!
I've been using the set for about half a year now, and although I'm not a very hardcore guy at working out, I do use this set about 3 - 4 times a week on average. The quality hasn't dropped a bit. The assembly of the power cage took me about 2 hours with a few friends' help, which I think is very reasonable. Would recommend to anyone hoping to get a set!

Prices were so awesome I went back and ordered a set of plates! Again, amazing quality and the prices can not be beat. I recommend Gym Shop to everyone for their home gym needs.

We had a great experience with Ben. We purchased a large quantity of dumbbells. He delivered them himself on a Saturday of a long weekend. He was great to deal with, very helpful and kind. *This review was 3/5 but after posting it Ben decided to blow my phone up with repeated calls, left a 3-5 min voicemail rambling about being disappointed and then proceeded to send me multiple messages on FB for 5 hrs. So now it's 1/5*

2nd edit - Ben is an actual lunatic and I have provided a couple of screen shots of his crazy unprofessionalism. Those are just a few of the dozens of messages he sent harassing me over the past 3 days. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Ordered a home gym bundle on boxing day 2024. Was one of the better priced bundles I found and being local with free delivery if you spent over $500 was a nice addition. For transparency I spent $1400.

Ben delivered within 2 days which again was a nice turn around time that I didn't expect. I talked with Ben before the purchase and had mentioned I wasn't sure about the bench in the bundle as it looked cheap imo. He offered to upgrade the bench to a better one if I paid the difference. Already spending $1400 a day after Christmas, I opted to keep the bench and see for myself.

That was my mistake, I should have taken that offer. The bench I recieved was the cheapest one(all black @ $109 on the site) and for good reason, this bench was terrible. My head hung off, it was narrow, it weighed all of 15lb if that and just felt extremely cheap all together. But what I noticed was the bench in the advertised bundle I bought had red stripes on it and was being sold for more on the website.

So I decided to reach back out to Ben and let him know i wasn't impressed with the bench and if I could still upgrade to the better one and pay the difference. I should have chose my words better as Ben seems to be a touchy fellow who takes things a bit too personal.

After some back and forth and condescending replies I finally told him that he could come get all of it for a return if this was his customer service attitude(as my items were all still boxed up). He also lied about the red stripes bench and the black one I got being the exact same benches; why are they priced differently on the website then? I hate liars. Especially ones you just did business with.

He didn't like the idea of me returning everything and seemed even more insulted. Suddenly he's throwing in my face that he did free delivery, yet that's exactly what his website advertises so I couldn't grasp why he thought this was a point of argument. Eventually I pacified him and got him to agree to the bench swap but he told me I could come and pick it up now. That's fine. But through a little more conversing Ben agreed to pick the bench up and swap it.

Now to the actual product - first off its all from China and comes with poorly faded instructions in Chinese so putting this all together will be a tedious and annoying task. But this is probably how they have such cheap prices.

The barbell is alright for a home gym. The plastic ends tells you all you need to know. The plates are fine, theyre plates. The new bench is better but still poorly built with bent pieces of steel that I had to bend back so it would go into place. The incline part doesn't line up the greatest due to the poor welding job.

The power cage itself - seems sturdy, I'm 220lb and can do pull ups on it and feels secure. The powder coating on it is poorly done with parts being missed. One of the bolt holes wasn't punched out so I had to punch it myself. The cables aren't the smoothest but they seem to do the trick.

The landmine is a nice feature, not sure about the foot pedals for rows as they're kind of in the way of the rack with no swivel option on it. The bundle included a T bar attachment, a small straight bar and a lat pulldown bar. All the bars are hollow so I'm not sure what they're rated for lb wise. But a nice addition none the less.

Right now I'm rating my experience with gym shop a 3/5. They lose points for false advertising(benches), lying about the benches being the same, his emotional customer service responses and the Chinese instructions that make building this longer than it needed to be and the questionable quality of some items.

I recently ordered a weight plate bundle along with a couple of bars. The price was fair and delivery was fast. We've had the equipment for a little over a month now and the product has been great so far.
