I wanted to take a moment to commend one of your staff members, Leanne, for the exceptional service she provided during my recent visit to your Eltham branch. I was collecting an eBay parcel, and Leanne was incredibly helpful throughout the process.

She not only ensured that my parcel was located promptly but also went above and beyond to assist me with tracking information for another delivery. Leanne’s willingness to listen and provide effective solutions made my experience seamless and pleasant.

It’s refreshing to encounter such dedication and professionalism. Leanne is a fantastic asset to your team, and I truly appreciate her efforts. We need more people like her, and I hope her hard work is recognised!

Extremely rude staff. Asked if I was in the right queue and was treated appallingly with a tirade of abuse to follow in front of my children and other customers. When I reported it to the manager he did absolutely nothing about it and was even smirking whilst the female staff member continued her tirade of abuse including threatening me in front of my children. I was called abusive and hurtful names by the staff member at the counter across the store whilst asking for a different staff member to assist me. It seems this store has a number of similar reports about rude staff. I never shop in Argos as I usually shop online or go to larger department stores closer to where I live where I can buy most items for the home etc. After challenging the manager about the staffs appauling and trashy behaviour (still continuing without stopping for breath at this point) he blamed me and accused me of ‘pushing in’ despite there being no other customers in front of me at the time? Odd I thought. It seemed as though staff were very comfortable with this unruly conduct and it seemed to be accepted as the ‘norm’ which is really quite alarming and concerning, particularly in front of young children in store. I think staff training is an absolute must if Argos Eltham are to retain some level of customer service or even to keep customers purchasing here. Personally I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone and if giving starts out of ten I’d have to give a zero. Steer well clear would be my advice, particularly if you are easily offended by mouthy shop staff with an immature attitude towards customers.

Unfriendly and rude staff. We spoke to the manager who is completely unhelpful and rude and did not solve the problem. We wanted to return an unopened item and she refused to do so. There was another customer next to us who was treated the same way. What a shame. Please, avoid buying expensive items at this store. They never accept returns even though you have 30 days, even if the box is unopened. They open it at store and say it not returnable because was opened. Excuse me? Also, make sure you open expensive items in front of them before taking them home. My friends have been scammed here too and got trash inside boxes.
