After having my pets dental procedure cancelled due to a vet shortage at my regular vets they were able to secure an appointment for me at the Cobequid Animal hospital.
I was very grateful for the Bedford South Pet focus staff for securing the appointment and for the Cobequid staff for taking such great care of my pet, not knowing either one of us.
They provided excellent care and service and made an anxious pet owner comfortable entrusting them with the care of my dog. I am very grateful for their expertise and compassionate care.

I've dealt with 4 other vets over the years and I've stayed with this one for 5 years now. They are great with our dogs. I recommend them to everyone. Fair prices and honest answers on what should be done. No vet is cheap. I've tried the cheapest I know and got terrible results and it wasn't even much less but for this place the value for the money is the best around. The women at the counter are great to deal with and the vets are too.

The staff are super nice and welcoming. I've been going there for a couple years as it is so close to work and they always have time for Harley and I. The vets and vet techs and helpers are excellent! Harley HATES her nails done... but they figured out a great way that she doesn't fight them or get nippy without muzzeling her.
They now know her by name and me by defaut:)

I needed to have prompt attention for my dog. I couldn't wait for a regular appointment. Within a few hours Daisy was in an examining room and the problem was determined very quickly and a prescription was provided. All staff were very supportive and helpful. As with all Vet visits at Cobequid, you can request a nail trim, which I did when I first called. This was overlooked thus the score of 9. As for visits over the years for all of my animals I have always received high quality care for my cat, Lacey and my dog Daisy. Cobequid Animal Hospital is a well-oiled machine and I would be very hesitant to take my animals anywhere else!

This was my cats first ever visit to the vet and it was an amazing experience!

About 2 weeks ago I brought my 14 year old cat in to have a checkup since I noticed she had some bloating and also had some discharge, after Dr. Melissa Burgouyne gave her a look over she said my cat had an open Pyometra which can be fatal in both cats and dogs and the only way to cure it is having the uterus removed (Spay). Dr Burgouyne helped me ease all my anxieties that come with older cats having complications going under anaesthesia and let me ask as many questions as I pleased leading up to surgery day.

Today was my cats surgery day and I was filled with worry all morning leading up to her surgery worried about any complications they could run into. The vet I spoke to today (unfortunately I didn’t get her name!) helped me ease all my worries and fears of the unknown and I felt very calm leaving L.B for her surgery. About an hour after her surgery started I got a call immediately that she will be ready to be picked up around noon! I also want to thank her for listening to all my questions when I went to go pick L.B up AND when I got home and had some more!

She’s home now in some pain but cuddling right up next to me, I’m happy to say my cat will be living for another couple of years! Thank you so much for saving my sweet L.B!

I took in my cat Elsa who had contracted fleas and was completely miserable. She also had a slight ear infection. The vet and the staff were awesome. Elsa was treated about a week ago and is back to her old lovable self!
