Yesterday, while planning to shop at Chanel ,I was asked by security to wait until the appropriate time to enter the store. As I patiently waited for my turn, a couple walked in without being stopped or questioned. This inconsistency in treatment left me feeling quite offended. Regardless of who they were, I found it unacceptable that the staff allowed this to happen. I expected a higher level of professionalism from Chanel, and this experience was disappointing.

The store manager Laura and her associate Jin are far from professional. I came to return a bag after Christmas because my spouse didn't like it and they assumed we were some children and rejected the return claiming she wore the bag. That was a huge assumption and they disregarded their own policy's criteria. The was bought on the 22nd of December and returned within a week. Guess they didn't want to hurt their sales and maybe I shouldn't have come in sweatpants and a hoodie because they clearly have us mixed up with ratchet youth that we are far from. The bag showed wear when it had been sitting in the box since it was unwrapped and viewed on in the mirror. You deserve this review and some pictures of the "worn" bag.

I brought a bag here for repair. Stitching needed fixing and handles were looking worn (which is terrible given that I'd only had the bag for a year). After 7 months, I'd heard nothing so I called. They couldn't tell me anything and said they'd have to research and get back to me. Never got a call back but a week later I got an email that said my bag was finally being worked on. Then got notice it was finished about a week or 2 later. So were they just sitting on it for 7 months?!
It was ready before summer, so I let it go. I pick up the bag and it's fully wrapped and packaged like a new purchase, which I thought was a nice touch. Wrong!! I didn't open it until a few weeks later when I was ready to carry it for summer. Huge mistake. I find a big blue ink line on the inside. Are you kidding me?! You mark up my bag and don't fix it?! Then wrap it so I get it home before noticing. I wish I had made them unwrap it before I left the store to inspect it. Just horrible. Chanel has really declined.

Chanel does not stand behind their product. I bought a $5K tote in 2019 which i have minimally carried which had a few scuff marks on the top and bottom. I took it back to the boutique I had purchased yesterday to ask how to remedy the scuff marks. Salesperson had made up her mind to be unapologetic, unhelpful and even insulted my handling of my purse (which I have stored for the last two years in the dust bag in the Chanel Box) on a shelf in my closet. She spent more time telling me how the purse had a lot of wear (which it has not), than addressing my issue.
I am beyond disappointed the only option I was given was to send my purse off to Chanel restoration to see if they could paint my scuffs at a cost of $285. No thank you! I was not asking for a new purse, I was expecting that Chanel would stand behind their brand, their reputation and offer good customer service. I was very wrong. I will never purchase another Chanel purse.

I couldn't care less about designer products, If it wasn't for a Christmas gift for my wife. I ordered earrings and had them shipped to the store, The order was never filled! What I do expect for paying exorbitant prices for costume jewelry, is impeccable service. This store didn't deliver!!!

Beware. They profile.

At least 5 associates were standing up front but as I walked towards the queue they all fell back and did “busy work” , were all of a sudden in their phones etc. Thank you to the one girl who actually assisted (she was probably furthest from the door at the time too smh). I appreciate your kindness.
