If you care about knowledgeable understanding of products, newest / latest arrivals, user friendly navigation on-line over the phone or in person; if you care about return policies & customer satisfaction, if you care about organization and commitment to supporting and growing the running community … then the Black Toe Running Shop is for you! I just dropped $700 with another $300 more in 2 weeks and I couldn’t be more comforted with the choices I’ve made as per my specific needs. Sean was so helpful today! I came in looking for a second pair of shoes to train in for my next half marathon, explained my running history (distances, injuries, etc.) and he knew exactly what type of shoe I was missing to round out my training. Christine was super helpful and I really enjoyed my experience! A friend gave me a gift card to Blacktoe so this was my first time in the store. I have been running for several years, and completed the Toronto half marathon last year but without the use of real running shoes and so my friend wanted to introduce me to Blacktoe and I’m very happy he did. I purchased my first pair yesterday and had a very good run with them this morning. I will definitely be back!

I needed a proper running vest for my first ever half marathon that is coming up soon. The staff here are so nice and knowledgeable. This has been a great purchase. Great customer service. Great product knowledge. Great personal touch.
I came into the store with some pretty unique and specific needs. Sean greeted me upon arrival and was brilliant through the whole process. He listened to my situation and brought me a perfect selection of footwear that fit my needs. He was patient while I tried on multiple pairs in order to compare and contrast. He gave me his professional opinion which was never pushy with a sales agenda. I greatly appreciated the professionalism.
After some time I was confident and made a purchase that suited me. I went home and immediately took my new shoes to the treadmill.
I could not have been happier. Exactly what I needed.
After a week of continued use I am very happy that I decided to check out BLACKTOE for my footwear needs. I thank Sean for helping me with what has turned out to be the best footwear purchase I have made in a very long time. I will be a return client and would highly recommend.
