So cool! The review 3 days prior to mine outlines the visit pretty well, so I won’t be redundant. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Sam, who was patient in answering my many questions, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she does. The birds are stunningly beautiful up close, and it’s a joy to watch them fly. And what a treat to be able to handle them. Highly recommend, totally worth the money.

My wife surprised my daughter and me with this adventure and it was amazing! Sam was extremely knowledgeable and was very patient and helpful.
We followed her in our cars a few miles to where the birds are kept (a little off the beaten path) and got to meet the Harris' Hawk and Red Tail Hawk as well as the Barn Owl in person. They also have a Kestrel and a Peregrine Falcon "in training". She got out one of the hawks and with him sitting on her glove, proceeded to give us about a 20 minute talk on the birds and how they eat, are trained, etc. Just watching the hawk up close as it looked around, flapped a few times, etc. was something out of Wild Kingdom!
Then we headed to the field next door for the flights.

We got to wear the glove and hold little pieces of meat while the hawks flew from about 75 yards away back on to our outstretched gloves to eat. It was amazing seeing them swoop down and land!!! Since we were the only 3 that day, we got to feed each a couple of times and spend some time just watching them fly by. My daughter got to do the mouse part as well!!! (No details, you have to go and find out! You'll find out about mantling as well!)
Then back to the enclosures to work with the Barn Owl. Amazing bird! We had no idea some of the workings of how it silently hunts until Sam clued us in!

This isn't one of those adventures where you just watch the trainers do their thing. The birds fly to YOUR outstretched hands, where YOU feed them!!!

This was one of those things you don't really know exists, but when you find it, it is truly breathtaking. Sam was a stellar guide, the birds were awe inspiring, and you will never forget the experience. Highest possible rating.

A group of friends experienced the Falconry program and it exceeded our expectations in all categories. Jeff's communication prior to our session was timely and thorough. During our session, both Jeff and Sam were fantastic. Super knowledgeable, authentic, friendly and professional. The actual experience with the birds was incredible and has left lasting impressions with everyone in our group. Highly, highly recommend.

A very special experience. One of the best gifts we have been given.
Falconry was given to us as an anniversary gift. Was not sure what to expect, but the day turned out to be truly memorable.
Sam was our guide as we learned so much about birds of prey. She helped prepare us for what was an incredible experience.
Watching a 4ft wing span coming at you from a football or more away as it swoops and turns, landing precisely on your glove is unforgettable.
I recommend this as a gift to give or receive. Also as a gift to yourself and family. You will be glad you did.

Falconry Experience was Wonderful! My husband and I loved getting to fly a hawk and meet Jeff’s other birds and see them fly. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We would recommend this to everyone. I was scared going in but it’s not scary at all! Very peaceful!

What an amazing group of people! We did the half day wade and the falconry experience. Will was an excellent guide, I could not have asked for a better experience fly fishing for the first time.
Sam expertly introduced us to the awe inspiring sport of falconry. We got to meet and fly two beautiful birds, who were more than happy to spot a bear with her two cubs for us!

First rate operation, first rate guides. If your new to this, the guides here are great at instructing and putting you on fish. My daughter, her friend and myself fished a full day with Kenny and a half day with Cody. We had great experiences on our first fly fishing adventures. I cannot say enough about how great both guides were. They put us on fish and made us fall in love with the sport!
